Alexander Zverev has a fairly bad momentum in this year's ground. Last week, the German tennis player was eliminated early in the second round of Monte Carlo Masters. He lost to Matteo Berrettini with a score of 6-2, 3-6, 5-7.
This week, Zverev returned home to attend the ATP 500 – Munich Open. This time, the player born in 1997 had a complete makeover. After surpassing many opponents, he was in the final and encountered American opponent Ben Shelton.

With the cheers of home fans, Zverev has shown the impressive performance as the beginning of the tournament. Entering Set 1, the German star entered the game well and won the break early right in the game 1. In the rest of the set, he did not face any break point, and broke another Shelton's serve game to win the 6-2 gap.
Sang 2, Zverev still owns the game completely. He continued to win the break in the first game. Shelton later still proved helpless and did not create any difficulties for the opponent. Coming to Game 10, he accepted the racket with defeat 6-4.
With this result, Zverev officially crowned the Munich Open championship. This is his first title in 2025. It is more meaningful when this championship comes on the 28th birthday of the German player.
