This week, ATP Tour has two tournaments in the 500 category, Swiss Open and Vienna Open. In particular, the tournament in Austria has the presence of many notable players such as Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas or Dominic Thiem.
Last night, Vienna Open entered the fourth day of competition, with matches within the second round of men. After Daniil Medvedev defeated Dominic Thiem, Tsitsipas encountered Borna Coric. Notably, this was also the one who defeated Tsitsipas in the final of Cincinnati Masters not long ago.

Even in Set 1, Tsitsipas and Coric created an extremely balanced game. Two players compared each other game and in turn protect the games they held the ball. However, even in the Decision 10 game, Tsitsipas showed his bravery to win the break, thereby closing Set 1 with a 6-4 victory.
Continuing the excitement, Tsitsipas entered the well in Set 2 when winning the break right in Coric's first serve game. However, the Croatian tennis player did not let the opponent take advantage for too long. Right to Game 3, he demanded the break to bring the set to the balance.
It seems that losing the break too fast has caused Tsitsipas to be psychologically affected. In game 9 hinges, the Greek tennis player loses a disastrous break. Shortly thereafter, Coric did not make any mistakes to successfully protect the game 10, thereby winning 6-4 in this set.

Coming to game 3 decided, the balance position was created again. The two players exchanged breaks in two 5-6 games and then had to pull together in the brain tie-break series. Here, Coric plays better when winning a mini break, thereby winning 7-4.
In the end, Coric came back to successfully against Tsitsipas to officially be present in the Yuanna Open quarterfinals. This is also the second consecutive defeat of the Greek tennis player before this opponent.
