Wimbledon 2025 officially started on June 30. This is the third Grand Slam in the year, after Australia expanded and the French expanded. The tournament was held in London (UK) on the pitch.
At Wimbledon, each application will have 128 players attending the main round. In the men's singles, the three names are considered as the leading candidate for the main championship, Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner and especially Carlos Alcaraz. Meanwhile, Coco Gauff, Aryna Sabalenka are the three most appreciated names in the women's singles.
Last night and early this morning 9/7, the first two matches in the four men's menstrual rounds took place. No surprise occurred when the more appreciated players won tickets to go on. Carlos Alcaraz won Cameron Norrie easily 6-2, 6-3, 6-3, while Taylor Fritz won 6-3, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6 (4) against Karen Khachanov.
In women's singles, the first two names in the semi -finals were also revealed. The world's No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka is downstream Laura Siegemund with a score of 3-6, 6-2, 6-4. The remaining name in the semi -finals is the seed No. 13 Amanda Anisimova.
