However, Jack Draper shows a praiseworthy competition when he immediately revives in Set 2. The British player starts strongly with 2 consecutive Break Points to lead 4-0. Nadal could not find a way to regain the game, and the second set ended quickly with a score of 6-2 for Draper.
The third set continues to be as intense as the first set. Draper lost the break in game 4 but he reclaimed success in the 7th game, thus bringing the set to the balance in the 8th game. However, Nadal showed a superior bravery at an important time. “Gaur” excelled in breaking the ball in the 10th game, thereby winning 6-4 to take the lead 2-1.
Draper once again tried to “return” at the beginning of set 4 when winning the break right in Nadal's first serve game. However, that's all that young foggy players can do. The 36-year-old player won the final after 4 sets with 7-5, 2-6, 6-4, 6-1 score to enter the second round.
