“Nadal is completely fine,” Perez-Barbadillo said. “As we all know, the virus does not show symptoms 3 to 4 days in advance. The next test is after three more days.”

The last time Nadal tested Covid-19 was on April 12, the same day he practiced with Medvedev, and had a negative result. If Nadal continues to be a second negative, he will be able to conquer his Monte Carlo tournament without being hindered. However, if the result was positive, he would have to follow the Medvedev to withdraw from the tournament.

According to some news agencies, Nadal was given a green light in the match in his second round against rival Federico Delbonis on April 14. With Nadal not appearing symptoms, the possibility that he spread virus is quite far away. But Covid-19 has been proven to be very unpredictable, so the smallest negligence can also cause disaster for Nadal and the tournament.
