In 2020, Indian Wells Masters was canceled by Covid-19 epidemic. Therefore, the defending champion of the men's singles is still Dominic Thiem. In the 2019 season, the Austrian star defeated Roger Federer in the final to win the champion. However, this season, Thiem cannot be present due to injury.
