Janko Tipsarevic appreciates Djokovic for humility

“Novak is extremely modest outside the field,” Tipsarevic recently shared in a podcast program. “He may be the most physical person you've ever met.”

“Like when you make a lot of money, create a lot of wealth, people often tend to change. Novak, from the moment I know he so far, has not changed at all,” Tipsarevic talked about his compatriot tennis player.

Janko Tipsarevic thinks Djokovic is extremely modest and this quality does not change over time.

Janko Tipsarevic competed with Novak Djokovic for the Serbian team at the 2010 Davis Cup and brought a resounding victory for his homeland. This is the first and only Davis Cup of Serbia to the present.

“He is definitely the most intangible person I have ever known,” Tipsarevic said. “A man with a vast heart, always trying to help everyone, especially Serbians and his teammates.”

According to Tipsarevic, the most important factor that makes Djokovic's success is mental stability. He said that although Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer worked hard like Djokovic, they could not match him in terms of expertise on the field. Tipsarevic emphasized that no athlete could be comparable to the professionalism and sacrifices of Djokovic in real life.

“I know he doesn't practice much on the pitch like Rafar or Roger. But the professional level and sacrifice outside the field, I think no athlete can compare with him,” TipsareVic added.

Novak Djokovic once again proved the reason why he was the world's leading player after winning the Australian Open 2021 in February despite the injury. The Serbian legend defeated the opponent at the peak of Daniil Medvedev in the final and won the 18th Grand Slam title for himself.
