Recently, Nick Kyrgios has confirmed the withdrawal of Australia expanded 2024. The Australian tennis player said he has not recovered. This is also the second consecutive year he missed the Grand Slam in his home country.
Last Tuesday, Kyrgios appeared on Podcast “Purpose with Jay Shetty”. The 28 -year -old star admitted that he was feeling very tired of being injured. He also said he was no longer interested in playing tennis.

“To be honest, I really don't want to play tennis anymore. Of course, I still have to continue playing, almost like that. But for me, I no longer feel like it is.
I'm exhausted, I'm tired. I undergo three traumatic surgeries. Currently, I am only 28 years old, I always want to have a family and do not suffer anymore. When I got up and walked around, I always felt pain. Everything is difficult.
I just want to play for another one to two years. I hope I can reach the peak and accomplish my goals. I hate having surgery once more. So I think I still have the ability to play for one to two years, and that's it.

I think I will feel satisfied with everything I have achieved. I have to tell everyone out there, those who want me to play for many more years: “You will have to accept that I no longer play professional tennis,” Kyrgios shared.
Kyrgios only played a single match in 2023, then took a long -term break from injury. Currently, he has fallen from the ATP rankings.
