Federer chose Laver Cup 2022 as the last peak tournament in his career after confirming the retirement on September 15. The player who won a total of 103 titles combined with Rafael Nadal in the first battle of the tournament just ended in London.

The Federer/Nadal pair lost to Frances Tiafoe/Jack Sock of the World Team after 3 sets. On the last day of competition, the world team won 3 matches (2 applications, 1 pair) to have the first Laver Cup championship.
“I did not prepare any speech. I would like to send congratulations to the world team. I was confident in our matches today but obviously you played well. John Mcenroe and the whole world team deserve that title.
Of course, the European team played great and I enjoy every minute. I hope I don't make the team lose but I had a memorable time. Only thanks is not enough for these wonderful things. By the way, I would like to thank Bjorn Borg – our captain, a great champion”, Federer shared.

Express train confirmed to attend Laver Cup 2023, the tournament held in Vancouver (Canada). “Hopefully next year, I will be there and support two teams from different positions.
I hope to see you again in Vancouver. Thanks to the Organizing Committee, all the sponsors, thank you to everyone. You made the final tournament as my player became amazing”.
