Right before the Roland Garros 2021, Novak Djokovic decided to attend the Belgrade Open – ATP 250 in Serbia's hometown. With a superior level compared to the general ground of the tournament, he advanced a circuit to the final, after passing Mats Moraing in the second round, Federico Coria in the quarterfinals and Andrej Martin in the semi -finals.
Entering the championship match, Djokovic's opponent Alex Molcan – the star is considered a phenomenon at this year's Belgrade Open. Despite the modest ranking of 225, the Slovakian player has impressed with the upstream in front of the 8th seed Federico Delbonis. In fact, Molcan also caused Nole to have surprising moments in the match last night.
In Set 1, the match took place relatively balanced when the two players won a total of 7 Breakpoint – Djokovic 4 and Molcan 3. In the end, Djokovic defeated Molcan with a score of 2-0 and officially crowned at Belgrade Open this year. This is also the 83rd title in the career of the Serbian tennis player. After this final, he will fly to Paris to attend Roland Garros.
