Djokovic withdrew from Miami Open 2024, putting effort for the clay season

Indian Wells Masters is the first Novak Djokovic tournament to attend after Australia. Here, the Serbian player is the No. 1 seed and is highly appreciated for the championship. However, he was disappointed when he was eliminated early in the third round.

“At this stage of my career, I need to balance my own schedule and my own plan. I am sorry to not be able to attend Miami Open, where there are the most wonderful and passionate fans in the world.”

In the past, Djokovic had 6 times of winning the Miami Open. However, the last time he was crowned was in 2016. The victory achievement of the Serbian player here was 44-7.

Leaving the United States, Djokovic will focus on the clay season. In particular, the focus is 2 Masters 1000 tournament, Monte Carlo, Madrid Open and the Grand Slam Slam expanded.
