Last week, Novak Djokovic decided to withdraw from Rome Masters. The notice came after the Serbian tennis player was eliminated early in Madrid Open. This made the fans worried about the preparation for the France to expand Nole.
However, Djokovic had his own choice. Accordingly, the 37 -year -old star will attend the Geneva Open 2025 in a special capacity. This is a tournament in the ATP 250 category on the ground, taking place right before the French expansion of 2025.

In Geneva Open, Djokovic will have the opportunity to encounter some strong competitors such as Tallon Griekspoor, Taylor Fritz, Casper Ruud (defending champion), Grigor Dimitrov, Karen Khachanov, Denis Shapovalov and Hubert Hurkacz. There is also Tomas Machac (No. 20 ATP), the player who defeated Nole in the semi -finals of Geneva Open 2024.
Currently, Djokovic has a disappointing season with a record of 12 wins – 7 losses. Before Rome Masters, the Serbian tennis player dropped to the world. He could even fall to 8th, depending on the results in Rome.
The last time Djokovic won a tournament was at the Paris Olympic Games 2024. Up to now, Nole is still stopping at 99 milestones in his career. He was close to the 100th title earlier this year at Miami Masters, but lost to Jakub Mensik in two tie-break series in the final.
