Djokovic towards a record 373 weeks in the world

Djokovic broke the male tennis record when passing the 310 -week milestone ranking the world's number one position of Roger Federer on March 8. However, there are still 3 women who still lead him about this achievement, including Serena Williams (319 weeks), Martina Navratilova (332 weeks) and Steffi Graf (372 weeks).

After winning the Australian Open, Djokovic said he could slowly beat, however, coach Ivanisevic said that the Serbian player seemed to have a different goal in his mind, as long as he was not injured.

“If he is healthy and stable as he has shown in Australia, if he knows what he wants, Djokovic will not have any limits,” Ivanisevic said in the Functional Tennis Podcast. “As I said before, Steffi Graf's record, 372 weeks, you know … Every possibility is possible. The most important thing is that he must be healthy, and later, we will wait to see what happens.”

Djokovic has not played any more matches after the Australian Open last month. He plans to return to the Miami Masters next week.

Stefanie Maria “Steffi” Graf is a former German professional tennis athlete. She was voted as the greatest female tennis athlete in the 20th century. In 1988, Graf won the Gold Medal for the Olympic Word and 4 Grand Slam awards, becoming the first person in the history of the world to achieve Golden Slam.
