With Djokovic, he did not make any complaint. He only requested a private chef to be able to maintain his very strict diet when professional players live without gluten intolerance.

But his request was rejected by the Australian Border Forces. The world's No. 1 player has been informed that he will not receive any special treatment because he is still detained at the center for immigrants.

The fact that he was detained at the hotel was sparking protests in Melbourne and Belgrade his hometown. The Serbian government declared the conditions that Australia has “not suitable for the best sports athletes”, while Djokovic's family accused the Australian government to treat their son as a 'prisoner'.

Not to mention the hotel where the 34 -year -old isolation is being called by people in this place as a 'nursery' for Covid. Because in October 2021, nearly half of the people kept in the hotel had a positive result with the Delta strain, with a man taken to the hospital by ambulance.
