Djokovic and Sinner in the Wimbledon quarterfinals

Wimbledon 2025 officially started on June 30. This is the third Grand Slam in the year, after Australia expanded and the French expanded. The tournament was held in London (UK) on the pitch.

At Wimbledon, each application will have 128 players attending the main round. In the men's singles, the three names are considered as the leading candidate for the main championship, Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner and especially Carlos Alcaraz. Meanwhile, Coco Gauff, Aryna Sabalenka are the three most appreciated names in the women's singles.

Last night and early this morning, July 8, the last matches in the fourth round of men's Wimbledon took place. No surprise occurred when the more appreciated players won tickets to go on. Novak Djokovic defeated Alex De Minaur with a score of 1-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4, and Jannik Sinner in the quarterfinals despite losing 2 sets thanks to Grigor Dimitrov gave up due to injury. The remaining two names are Ben Shelton and Flavio Cobolli.

In women's singles, two seeds of Iga Swiatek and Mirra Andraeva were also present in the quarterfinals. Swiatek defeated Clara Tauson with a score of 6-4, 6-1, while Andreeva surpassed Emma Navarro with a score of 6-2, 6-3.
