Learner Tien won the Washington Open army, against Rubleev in round 2

Washington Open 2025 is the focus of the world felt village. This is a tournament on the outdoor hard yard, held in the US capital. The tournament will take place from July 21 to July 27.

Last night and early this morning 22/7, the first day of Washington Open 2025 was officially held. One of the waiting matches at Court 4 is the confrontation between Learn Tien and Emilio Nava. It was not surprising that Tien had an overwhelming performance before the opponent was ranked outside the top 100 ATP.

This match, Tien took the initiative to give Nava any opportunity. He won important serve games, created an early distance and ended the set with a score of 6–1. Meanwhile, Nava could not create a large enough pressure in the gaming game, resulting in breaking broken many times.

Set 2, the game took place more balanced. After losing the first serve game, Nava quickly reclaimed the break to equalize 1-1. However, Tien is still the one who owns the game and knows how to win. He has a break at the decision moment to finish the set with a score of 6-4.

In the end, Tien only takes 75 minutes to defeat Nava 6-1, 6-1. This result brought him in the second round of Washington Open. Notably, Tien's next challenge is Androy Rubleev No. 5 seed, experienced player in big tournaments and has reached the Top 5 in the world.
