Emma Raducanu missed the Eisenhower Cup friendly tournament earlier this week because of injury. She shared that she was suffering from the Indian Wells Masters 2023.
“This is the pain I had encountered before,”- Raducanu said. “I had this injury before and suddenly it recurred at this time.”
Indian Wells Masters 2023 started to start on 6/3 and Emma Raducanu will have the first match at 3:15 am on 9/3, Vietnam time. Therefore, many people believe that the No. 1 female player in England will not recover.
“I am trying to play,” – the player born in 2002. “Even if I still injured but only had a minor pain, I would play. Hopefully all the good things will take place before the upcoming match.”
In 2023, Raducanu missed many tournaments because of injury. Most recently, she could not attend Austin ATX Open, Texas for the same reason. Even Raducanu has a fever before the Indian Wells Masters 2023.
“I have high fever. Although this is only a temporary disease, it affects my health,” Raducanu said. “When it rains, my condition is affected. It will be a big challenge. I feel I am not in the best state, but I hope to be able to play.”
Emma Raducanu was born on November 13, 2002 in Toronto, Canada. Her father is Romanian and her mother is Chinese. She has been the US Open 2021 women's singles champion. However, since then, the British player has not had more achievements in the international tennis village.
