According to the latest announcement, the first Nadal tournament to attend in 2022 was ATP 250 Melbourne. The tournament will start on January 4 of the following year and last for 1 week. Here, the 'crew king' is ranked No. 1 seed.
In Melbourne, Nadal is also considered to win the championship. Accordingly, the list of participants has no player in the top 20 ATP. The No. 2 seed is Reilly Opelka – 26th in the world, while the ATP Finals 2017 Grigor Dimitrov (28) is ranked No. 3.
Before that, Nadal would not attend the ATP Cup with Spanish tennis team. This is an annual team event to launch Australia to expand and start the first day of the new year.
