The case of Novak Djokovic is still heating up when the Australian government decided not to give in to the Serbian tennis player, regardless of the great opposition from the tennis fans as well as the Serbian government.
Novak Djokovic is granted vaccine exemption by Australian Tennis, Australian Open organizers and Victoria state government. But Australia does not think that this is a legal basis for the 34 -year -old player to enter this country.
Therefore, Djokovic is being isolated temporarily in a hotel, which is assessed to have bad living conditions and the risk of increased infection.

This made the Serbia pressing. Prime Minister Ana Brnabic gave a message of support of 34 -year -old tennis player: “He will stay in the Park hotel until the final decision is made. In the meantime, we are supporting him wholeheartedly.
We have tried to make sure that Gluten -free food is always sent to him, besides that are exercise tools, laptops and SIM cards so he can contact his family. ”
At the same time, the Prime Minister also asked the Serbian government to be “more active” to protect Djokovic. She stated that the Serbian government “is ready to provide everything necessary for Djokovic to be able to enter Australia safely.”

Finally, Ana Brnabic emphasized that in recent talks, she “received positive messages from Australia”. This brings hope of a beneficial outcome for Djokovic, who is trying to be at Australian Open to win his 21st Grand Slam title.
