After nearly 3 years, Dominic Thiem has just won a ticket to play a final at ATP Tour. Accordingly, the Austrian tennis player is present in the Los Cabos Open final, with his opponent Sebastian Baez.
Entering Set 1, Thiem proved to be inferior to Baez. The US Open 2020 champion lost the previous break in game 4. In the rest of the set, he could not reclaim the break and accept to lose 3-6.
Sang 2, everything became more difficult with Thiem. He lost the break right in the first serve game. Coming to Game 5, the Austrian star easily loses the break for the second time and then lost 1-6 quickly.
In the end, Baez received a defeat of 3-6, 1-6 and officially crowned the Los Cabos Open championship. This is the third ATP title of the Argentine tennis player. Notably, all 3 titles are ATP 250 on the ground.
