At the Indian Wells Masters 2025, Carlos Alcaraz is ranked No. 2.

After the first round of competition, Alcaraz recently played in the second round. The first opponent of the UK in the US was Quentin Halys. Before the 59th world ranked, the defending champion Wimbledon did not have any difficulties to win tickets to the third round.

Set 2, everything becomes easier for Alcaraz. The No. 2 seed successfully broke Halys's first 2-ball gaming games to lead 6-0. He kept this advantage until the end of the set and won 6-2 quickly.

In the end, Alcaraz passed Halys with a score of 6-4, 6-2 after only 1 hour 7 minutes. In the third round, the Spanish star will face Denis Shapovalov.

Notably, the victory over Halys also helped Alcaraz create a memorable milestone. Accordingly, he became the second youngest player in the history of 30 victory at the 'Sunshine Double'. Alcaraz can do this at the age of 21 odd 309 days, and Nadal is 21 odd 304 days.
